A large number of people from various parts of Sri Lanka have come to the Galle Face Green in Colombo to protest against the President and the Government of Sri Lanka.
The population is growing and the people are calling for the resignation of the President and the government.
The protest which started in the morning has blocked the Galle Road. There is also traffic congestion in Colombo due to the protest.
At the moment, the road in front of the Presidential Secretariat is completely blocked. They are protesting in front of the office. At the same time, they are given treats by various people to support them, and it can be seen from the cardboard boxes scattered here and there that some people have given arrack.
During previous protests, a video of an organized group distributing arrack to protesters was circulated. Our investigation team later confirmed that the drug was distributed by a team sent by him with the consent of a politician. It was confirmed that the buses had arrived from the Kurunegala area with the intention of cracking down on the protesters.
