It is reported that an 11th grade student was admitted to Embilipitiya Hospital after being hit on the ear by the mathematics teacher of Dorpane National School.
In view of the rising fuel crisis in the country, it is said that students of several schools are coming to this Dorpane National School for their education under the concept of “The nearest school is the best school”.
We heard the news that a student studying at Weerakatiya School was punched in the ear by K. Chaminda of Doorpane National School, confirming that the nearest school is the best school.
The concerned student was admitted to Colonna Hospital on Friday (05) morning and then on 08.06.2022, he was admitted to Embilipitiya Hospital from Colonna Hospital.
However, the most interesting part is the statement of the principal of Dorpane National School. During the questioning, the principal mentioned to the zonal office that a group of students had been warned by the mathematics teacher for not participating in the maths class, and a few students who tried to speak together were slapped on the cheek. And there is.
If that is the case, it is a simple fact that we understand that this math teacher touched the cheek of not only one student. However, kicking children with hands should be avoided immediately. In such an attack, it is possible to make a mistake or even cause a big accident to a child. Just like the teachers who think they are smart, these principals also need to be understood.
Such teachers as well as the principals who give false information to protect them should be severely punished. However, it is very sad that even on 07.08.2022, the concerned teacher has not been called to the police to get a statement.
How could these officers who are supposed to protect the country’s security and the public’s safety, pay attention to the future generations who are a valuable asset of our country?
