Ravana Note
Journalists are people who open the eyes of society. In expressing their ideas a society comes alive. It keeps society alive by publicizing the good and bad that certain people do to any person, environment, society, institution.
Intimidation of journalists states that the wrongdoers in society want to rule. But we remind you that it is temporary, that intimidating or killing journalists will destroy yours and my future generation, and that it is the journalists who will speak out strongly against injustice, even to a criminal.
We, as a media institution, also condemn this backboneless, cowardly attack and note that the voices of journalists cannot be silenced by such actions, but that their voices are temporary.
