UN Resident Representative in Sri Lanka Hannah Singer says she is concerned about reports of damage to Rambukkana protesters.
She points out that the use of violence by any party violates the rights of peaceful protesters and that it is important to use minimal force to protect the public.
She further added that this would protect the right of the people to exercise their fundamental freedoms.
