Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the island during the evening or night except in the Northern Province, the Met Department said.
In the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva Provinces and in some places in the Galle and Matara Districts. There may be showers or thundershowers at around 75.
People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning along with thunder showers.
