No individual can miss history for the sake of good human existence. If anyone destroys history, he is destroying that land. History studies the past and present heritage. History is not a dead subject. History shows the legacies and relationships of the past through living time. Ancient paintings, stone carvings, various places are the living histories of the ancient people who built them. We are all living histories too. We all speak languages inherited from the past. We all live in societies with complex cultures, traditions and religions that were not created a moment ago. As humans, we all use technologies that we do not invent. Also, all human beings are born with individual variants of an inherited gene set, known as genes that evolve throughout the life of the human species.
Therefore, understanding the relationship between the past and the present is absolutely fundamental to a better understanding of the state of humanity. In short, that is why history is so important. So not only is it ‘useful’, it is essential.
The answer to the question of why we need history is that it destroys Sri Lankan heritage because it has alien traits in its genes. It is scientifically true that many government officials in Sri Lanka are working against the motherland because of their genetic and inherited ancestral genetic heritage.
The history of Sri Lanka is still being destroyed due to the useless archeological administration of the Department of Archeology, including the Director General of Archeology of Sri Lanka. It is their fault that this destruction has been going on all over Sri Lanka for years. We have evidence that they do not even know what the law says, let alone preserve archeology.
About 10 years ago, Uggal excavated the length of the Kuda Kataragama Devalaya in Aluth Nuwara and prepared the ground and mentioned the names of various people. But the Archaeological Department was still asleep. The Director of Archeology is still asleep, though police investigations have revealed that the two old watchtowers in front of the shrine have been destroyed and a large pit dug. He has also replied to a complaint regarding the construction of the Ranmini Kotha Chaitya in the village of Vehera Bindaya in Panaduwa, Embilipitiya, stating that it has no archaeological value. But it is clear from the writing that the Director General of Archeology has not read the Act properly and does not even know if there is an Act on Archeology.
Also excavations carried out in and around the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, clearing the moat in front of the Temple of the Tooth, removing mud from it, digging a tunnel near the place where the Sacred Tooth Relic was buried, various excavations in the area, Boltube Saman Devalaya As citizens we can also write about the missing peacock model of the Ravana kings and the Golden Mandaya, the Pushparaga Manikya at the Sri Sumana Saman Devalaya in Ratnapura and many other things that have disappeared and been destroyed.
Also, many of the ancient shrines inside the Udawalawe Gardens are being destroyed due to the genetic heirs of some of the country’s leading archaeologists, including the Director of Archeology.
When a complaint about an archeological destruction goes to the police, it is clear that the police do not know the law to enforce the law. If the police had read the Archeology Act, “there is no need to ask the thief’s mother for a fortune.” People who love the country curse even the families of people who do not do the law and the duty and even if they do not see that even the children are living on the wages paid by the people for doing the duty properly, your heart bears witness to the fact that a third eye is watching your fate .
This era will go down in the history of Sri Lanka as an era in which there will be criminals, thieves, corrupt people, fraudsters, law abiding government officials and a large number of law abiding people or big criminals. Narrow selfish people who oppress people by going to work do not need a country or a future generation.
Among the looted antiquities are 07 gold caskets, 03 crystal caskets and the only replica in the world that reads about the oldest replica of the Dagaba.
Many of the world’s rarest antiquities found in the Kotawehera nave of Daliwela during the reign of King Pathis II were abducted by robbers last night.
Among the hijacked coffins is the Ranmuwa coffin, which is considered to be one of the most well-preserved dagobas in the world, which tells the story of the world’s stupas.
This dagoba was built during the reign of King Pathis II and is the only ancient dagoba in the country which has not undergone any renovations till date.
Therefore, the coffins that were treasured in this Dagaba are very important as the historical records confirm that these creations were made by the architects who were in the country during the reign of King Pathis II on the instructions of the Mahinda Thero.
The most important thing about this is that this is the only replica of the world’s most historically preserved dagoba. It was discovered by archaeologists on February 4, 1957.
A subsequent excavation in 2001 revealed seven more gold caskets. Excavations in 1957 uncovered four stone caskets with images of the stupa on the four sides of the dagoba. The ark was a perfect replica of the contemporary dagoba tradition.
Legend has it that the dagoba was built by Yuvaraja Tissa Keerthi, a younger brother of King Devanampiyatissa, under the guidance of Ven. Mahinda Thera. The inscription is in the Brahmi script.
However, it is very clear that this Dagaba was built during the reign of Mahinda Thera during the reign of King Pathis II.
