It is reported that a person has lost his life after being attacked with a sharp weapon in Grandpass Police Domain, Second Navagampura area yesterday afternoon (25).
The person who was injured in the attack was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital and he died while receiving treatment.
The deceased was a 17-year-old resident of Grandpass, Navagampura.
According to reports, due to a previous grudge, the suspect came in a three-wheeler and committed the murder and he has now fled the area. .
The body has been deposited in the Colombo National Hospital mortuary and the Grandpass Police is conducting further investigations to arrest the suspect.
