28 UNDERWORLD POLICE GANG LEADER SSP TRANSFERRED – CHANGE RATNAPURA’S POLITICAL LEADERS FOLLOW.

If they use their position or the position given by the public in a corrupt manner, they are not at all fit for public service. If the police officers act like that, it is a very dangerous situation. If they act like that, they are like the underworld. They use state power illegally against citizens.

The Inspector General of Police and the Minister of Police have received many complaints about the fact that there are 28 gangs of the police operating in the district of Ratnapura. Meanwhile, it has been reported to us that Ratnapura Senior Superintendent of Police, who leads this gang, has a transfer and arrangements are being made to persuade the Inspector General of Police through various political powers to change the transfer.

This Superintendent of Police, who was previously the Sabaragamu Senior Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ranmal Kodithuvakku from the area and recently the Deputy Inspector General of Police Priyantha Liyanage, who was in charge of Ratnapura District, had made all the necessary plans to drive out of Ratnapura this Senior Police Inspector together with these 28 gang members.

Among them, Rakwana Police Station Commander was the main one, besides Balangoda, Opanayake and Ratnapura Headquarter Police Inspector, Police Station Commanders who were the dogs of politicians and a large number of Ratnapura police officers who are engaged in corrupt activities. is being drained.

However, the way the law is implemented in Ratnapura district causes a lot of environmental damage and various abuses are done with the support of politicians. Also, as of last year, Ratnapura district has become the third district in Sri Lanka in which harmful acts have been done to children due to child abuse in Sri Lanka. Such a background has been created because some of the politicians in this Ratnapura district have appointed station commanders in the Ratnapura district.

Some Superintendents of Police are also continuously engaged in corrupt activities. Among them, we can see that the officers who were appointed as Assistant Superintendents of Police from the position of Police Station are engaged in these corrupt activities.

As the situation in Ratnapura district is like this, the Senior Superintendent of Police has gone to Ratnapura District Member of Parliament John Senaviratne to change the transfer. He has flatly denied and stated that you have charges and I cannot speak for your transfer. He has also made arrangements to meet Ratnapura District Member of Parliament and Minister Pavitra Devi Vanniarachchi. But we don’t have any reports about whether he met her or not, but we also have reports that he is trying hard to meet her and cancel the transfer.

Ratnapura district should not be allowed to be polluted day by day. The responsibility of the public representatives in charge of Ratnapura district is not to detain such corrupt officials but to expel them from Ratnapura district. Without that, it should be understood that by appointing police officers who continue to operate their dog-arm system as station commanders and by bringing the senior police superintendents they want to Ratnapura, they will cause serious damage to their voter base. The reason is that not only in Sri Lanka but also in the Ratnapura district, the old politicians have a severe disrepute and an era of rejection has been created, so it is difficult for the current political representatives and representatives to implement the law to the letter and protect the Ratnapura district.

If not, we can clearly see that they will lose 75% of the voting base in the next election, no matter what kind of privileges they have received from them, no matter what kind of protection they have been given as politicians. Therefore, the current political authority should work to implement the law in the Ratnapura district in a proper manner and only if this is done, the future fate of those politicians will be resolved as it is now.
