It is reported that Mr. Ashoka Priyantha, Minister of State for Home Affairs, said that measures have been taken to quickly recruit new recruits for the nearly 4000 vacant posts of Grama Seva Officers.
The State Minister has also mentioned that a committee headed by the Prime Minister’s Secretary Mr. Anura Dissanayake has been appointed to deal with it.
The Minister of State has also stated that the e-GN program to digitize all 14,022 rural service domains in the country has already started.
The Minister of State for Home Affairs Mr. Ashoka Priyantha expressed these views while joining the news conference held at the Presidential Media Center yesterday (07th) under the theme ‘One way to a stable country’.
