It is reported that the Treasury has not yet paid more than 50 crore rupees to fifteen suppliers who supplied goods to the Government Press.
Thus, the arrears have to be paid by the suppliers of paper, toner and ink, and Mrs. Gangani Kalpana Liyanage, the head of the printing press, recently requested the treasury to pay the arrears in installments and it is reported that the suppliers are reluctant to deliver the goods due to non-payment of arrears.
