It is reported that yesterday (18) STF officers have arrested six people who are harassing tourists and making money by forcing them into taxis and making tourists uncomfortable at the Katunayake Airport area.
Initial investigations have revealed that they are staying near the departure terminal of Katunayake Airport, forcing luggage and tourists into taxis and extorting money from the drivers.
The police have announced that they will conduct investigations in the future to find other people who act like this.
