A bus carrying a group of tourists collided with a train while trying to pass through an unsafe railway crossing in Waskadu this morning (29) and it is reported that two tourists were slightly injured in the accident.

According to reports, the accident took place when a group of tourists who were going to leave for the Czech Republic were being picked up from one hotel to pick up a group of tourists from another hotel.
Due to the accident, the rear part of the bus was severely damaged and the train was also damaged.
The train driver has also been admitted to the Kalutara Teaching Hospital due to minor eye injuries.
