It is reported that a doctor who worked at Monaragala District Hospital has committed suicide by hanging himself.
The police stated that he committed suicide yesterday (03) at his private residence in Weliaya area.
This 42-year-old doctor has also found a letter written so that no one suspects about his death.
The post-mortem examination was conducted yesterday afternoon and it has been confirmed that this was a suicide by strangulation.
