According to information received, it is reported that 60,460 drugs were carefully hidden in hair dye packages in the luggage of a person from India and arrested by the officers of Katunayake Airport Police Narcotics Bureau.
It is said that this drug is an illegal drug used as an alternative by people addicted to heroin.
A 40-year-old resident of Digana, Rajawella area has been arrested and after the suspect was produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court, he was detained on a 7-day detention order and allowed to be interrogated by the court.
