It is reported that a school student has lost his life after a stun gun went off in Ambanpola Agare area.
This child had gone to the land where his parents had grown coconuts in Agare area and stopped the child in the plant there and went to the plant in the nearby paddy field where the mother and father had grown coconuts. During the investigation, it was observed that the child was injured. The investigation revealed that there was a shotgun nearby.
It is said that the deceased is a 16-year-old school student from Ambanpola, Kettapahuwa.
