According to the police, a house and a cab were damaged in a fire that broke out in the morning of today (12) in a house in Ahungalla- Middaramulla area.
According to a message received by the Ahungalla Police at around 3.15 in the morning today (12) that the house was on fire, they went there and put out the fire.
According to the police, three weeks after the son-in-law of the owner of this house, Tharindu Dhanushka de Silva, was shot and killed by two motorcycle-borne gunmen in Middaramulla area on April 14 last year, the residents of the house left the house.
A police team including Ahungalla Police Station Officer Mr. Charith Halvita is conducting further investigations into this incident.
