Yesterday (14th) evening, it is reported that a fire broke out in the kitchen of a house in Mattakele estate number 2 estate house row belonging to Lidula police area and the house was slightly damaged.
In this regard, an officer of the Lidula Police stated that the fire occurred due to a gas leak that occurred while going to change the kitchen gas cylinder of the house.
It is reported that the fire caused minor damage to the house and there was no loss of life.
