It is reported that a person who threatened a manager of a government bank has been released on strict bail by the Hatton Magistrate’s Court.
On the 22nd, when the suspect asked about the balance left in his friend’s account at a state bank in Bagwantlawa town, the cashier refused to give that information. At that time, the suspect had an argument with the cashier and the manager.
According to a complaint made by the bank manager, the concerned suspect was arrested by the police. Later, it is stated that the suspect was released on strict conditions after being produced before the Hatton Magistrate’s Court.
A 28-year-old resident of Kirkaswall, Bagavantalawa has been released on bail.
