It is reported that a person who came to rob a house in the guise of a ninja and threatened a married couple and their two-year-old daughter with a sharp weapon and tried to run away was beaten by the residents and injured in hospital.

This incident happened in the early morning at a house belonging to a sales executive of a private company in Homagama Pitipana Gunawardena Mawatha and the suspect disguised as a ninja came to rob this house with a machete in his hand. At that time, the house owner, who saw it, tried to beat him with a knife when he went to catch him.
Later, during the struggle with him, the house owner’s wife and two-year-old daughter came to the place, and the robber threatened them with death.
Later, when the wife caught the robber and fought with him, the owner of the house immediately took action and snatched the manna from the robber’s hand and hit several places on his body and saved the wife.
