It is reported that a 50-year-old man who was receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital died while being given an antibiotic.
According to this, the Deputy Director General of Health Services, Dr. G. Mr. Wijesuriya said that an investigation will be conducted tomorrow (27) to see if he died due to an allergy, and until then, the relevant medicine was stopped from being given to the patients.
