According to the information received by the officers of the Homicide and Organized Crime Investigation Division, a raid was conducted and a person was arrested in Panadura, Hirana area with a pistol-type weapon and a magazine of ammunition manufactured in a foreign country.
It is stated that this suspect was arrested according to the information uncovered by the investigation conducted by the suspect Salindu Malpika alias Kudu Salindu, who is a member of an organized crime gang who is detained on the detention orders of the Criminal Investigation Department from the state of Dubai regarding the conduct of crimes in this country.
The arrested suspect is a 23-year-old resident of Moravinna, Panadura area.
