With the commencement of the 52nd regular session of the Human Rights Council yesterday (27), a protest movement against the violation of human rights in Sri Lanka had started near the famous protest site, the Broken Chair, in Geneva.
This protest movement, organized by the Tamil diaspora, was registered only for human rights violations alleged to have taken place during the war.
It has been discussed at the international level that Sri Lanka will have to face a difficult challenge in this human rights session with the issues related to political autocratic behavior and human rights violation, corruption and economic killings that happened throughout the last period.
