It is reported that Member of Parliament Dayasiri Jayasekara has said that he has decided to give the support of the new alliance that is preparing to form the Sri Lanka Freedom Party to President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The MP further stated that no political party has confidence in Maithripala Sirisena’s alliance.
Member of Parliament Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara,
“Many people do not believe in Maithripala Sirisena’s leadership today. That is what leadership boards are asking for. At the meeting of Mr. Lanza last week, I saw that they are trying to support Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe. In the alliance that they form together… the Sri Lanka Freedom Party supports Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe. It is a problem for the Sri Lankans in the village.”
