It is reported that a 9th grade schoolgirl of Panagoda Parakrama Vidyalaya, Athurugiriya, died after being admitted to the Oruwala District Hospital for treatment due to a sudden allergy.
A 14-year-old schoolgirl named Dinithi Timara, a resident of Homagama, Mullegama, has lost her life.
Yesterday morning (18), she went to school and came back home. While she was studying upstairs with a friend, she came downstairs saying “Mom, my hand hurts a little” and told her mother about it.
Later, the mother put some kind of medicine in her daughter’s hand and touched it to make her feel better. After that, the student who went upstairs once again while studying with her friend, suddenly vomited and fell on the floor.
After admitting the sick daughter to the Oruala District Hospital for treatment, the doctors who examined the patient said that the daughter has died.
