It is reported that a woman was injured and hospitalized in a shooting that took place in the Dediyagala area of Akurassa – Bangama.
The police say that the shooting took place inside her house last night (28) due to a family dispute.
It is said that the 25-year-old woman, who was injured by the weed, has been admitted to the Matara General Hospital for treatment.
The person who did the shooting is her sister’s husband and it is reported that he was arrested with the firearm in the morning of today (29) in Akuressa – Lenama area.
