It is reported that the Jaffna District Secretary stated that in a discussion held with the health departments, private class owners, teachers, child development officers and the police in Jaffna district for the mental health of the children, it was decided not to hold private support classes on Fridays and Sundays from the 1st of July.
Accordingly, it is stated that support classes will not be held for the classes below grade 09 on the two relevant dates, and it is to be discussed in the District Development Committee.
