It is reported that today (31) a special discussion of the Union of Professionals will be held to discuss the government’s tax policy.
It is stated that this discussion will be held in order to reach an agreement on future trade union actions due to the fact that a discussion was requested from the President to discuss this tax policy.
Also, it is reported that Mr. Chamil Wijesinghe, the media spokesperson of the Government Medical Officers’ Association, said that he sent a letter to the President yesterday (31) asking for a discussion to discuss the tax policy.
