It is reported that the Assistant Director of the Colombo Disaster Management Unit has issued a special notice to the residents of Homagama.
Accordingly, he is stating that due to the impact on the environment due to the fire that broke out in a chemical factory last night (17th) in Homagama Industrial Town, face masks should be distributed to the surrounding residents.
Due to the fire in the chemical warehouse, respiratory problems may occur and the disaster management unit has informed to follow these instructions to reduce the respiratory problems.
