It is reported that public health inspectors in Jaffna seized 1800 bottles of cold drinks which had been issued to the market under new dates after setting the date of expired soft drink bottles.
After seeing something unusual in a drink bottle and alerting the public health inspectors by a customer, this stock of drink bottles was found during an inspection.
This action has been carried out in a warehouse in Jaffna where bottles of popular drinks in Sri Lanka are stored and public health inspectors have taken steps to take legal action against the store owner.
