It is reported that the young woman unfortunately lost her life after fainting due to a laxative medicine given to her daughter, who went to a place run for Sinhala medicine and temple activities due to her childlessness.
The mother and daughter in question have gone to get treatment from a Sinhala medicine and temple center located in Giritale area due to their daughter’s infertility. At that time, the young woman in question had been taking a laxative medicine for three days in relation to a prescription prescribed by a female pharmacist who was there. The young woman was admitted to Jayanthipura Hospital due to a fainting condition after taking laxatives. It is said that the girl in question died after being taken to the hospital.
A 23-year-old girl resident of Diyacapilla, Sigiriya area has unfortunately lost her life.
The cause of death has not yet been revealed and it is reported that the body has been deposited at the Polonnaruwa General Hospital for post-mortem after the Magistrate’s investigation.
