It is reported that the all-party conference called by President Ranil Wickramasinghe is scheduled to be held today (26).
For this purpose, all party leaders and independent group leaders representing the Parliament have been invited and it is stated that the National Reconciliation Program will be focused on in the all-party conference.
Also, more attention will be given to the 13th constitutional amendment, but the political parties of the opposition have expressed different opinions regarding the participation in the all-party conference held today (26).
National People’s Power MP Vijitha Herath has stated that before convening the All-Party Conference, an agreement should be reached within the government and Vasudeva Nanayakkara MP has stated that he will participate in the All-Party Conference.
Also, National Freedom Front Member of Parliament Mr. Mohammad Musammil has stated that he will take steps to express his party’s opinion by participating in the All-Party Conference.
