Nine inmates who were detained in the Badulla-Taldena Youth Offenders Correctional Center had escaped yesterday (17) in the early hours of the morning. Six of the escaped prisoners were found yesterday (17) in the morning and afternoon of the prison officers and the police.
It is reported that the other fugitives were found hiding in the forest surrounding the camp this morning (18) during a search operation.
According to that, all the nine Radewians who fled have been arrested and they are going to be presented to the Badulla court today (18).
