A police sergeant and a police constable came to the place to check a person who was holding a stick and another person near the Teripah Samurdhi Development Bank. At that time, the person holding a stick pulled the uniform of the police sergeant and hit him on the head with the stick, and the other person threw a stone at the police constable’s face. and is reported to have been hit on the head.
Later, a police team from Theripa police came to the place and arrested the two suspects. It is said that these two suspects are a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old resident of Theripa area.
