It is reported that a dead body of an unknown male person was found on the railway track near the hospital in Kilinochchi area.
The police stated that the investigation was started based on a message received by the Kilinochchi police.
The police say that the deceased person is between 25-30 years old, about 5 feet tall, and was wearing blue denim shorts and a blue long-sleeved t-shirt.
The dead body has been kept at the place under police protection for the Magistrate’s investigation, and the Kilinochchi Police are conducting further investigations as to whether this death was due to being hit by the train or suicide or some other crime.
