It is reported that the police found a dead body in a canal near the flyover on the Kadawata Ragama road in the Kadawata police domain.
It is said that the identity of the deceased has not been confirmed yet.
The police say that the deceased is a man between the ages of 55 and 60, wearing a sleeved shirt and a green saree, with a beard growing over his face and short hair.
The body has been deposited in Ragama Hospital mortuary for post-mortem and Kadavata Police is conducting further investigations.
