Residents of Homagama Industrial Park have said that they feel difficulty breathing as white smoke is coming out from the sky.
The Homagama police said that there has been an addition of chlorine to the current foggy situation.
The police have informed the employees of the factories in the industrial town about this and have informed everyone to wear face masks.
The police mention that if the sun shines properly, this situation will be avoided, and due to the smoky nature of the situation until that happens, wear face masks properly.
Also, it is reported that the police has also informed that anyone who has difficulty in breathing should go to the hospital immediately.
