It is reported that Mr. B. Wijeratne, the chairman of the Aswasuma benefits program, stated that 106,151 appeals and complaints have been received as of yesterday (26th), of which 99,710 were appeals and 6,441 were objections.
The chairman has further mentioned that after examining the appeals and complaints received in this way, the final list of the people entitled to the welfare allowance can be prepared.
