It is reported that 418 multi-tasking assistants have been given permanent appointments in Ratnapura district under the 100,000 jobs programme.
In this regard, the State Minister for Provincial Councils and Local Government Mr. Janaka Wakkambura has stated that 34,700 multi-tasking assistants have applied under the program so far, and 29,000 of those qualified will be recruited.
The state minister further stated that most of these multi-tasking employees are currently working in various government institutions as trainees, some of them have not been able to get permanent appointments, and by completing their existing deficiencies before November 31, they will be given the opportunity to get permanent appointments. was done
