It is reported that a person was attacked and killed with a weapon in a house in Koggalla area of Suriyawewa police domain yesterday (16th) afternoon.
According to reports, the younger brother of the same family attacked the elder brother with a knife due to a land dispute.
A 29-year-old resident of Koggalla area has lost his life.
The 24-year-old younger brother has been arrested for the murder.
It is reported that the dead body has been taken to the Hambantota Hospital and the Suriyawewa Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
