It is reported that Sri Lanka and the World Bank are going to reach an agreement to provide the necessary funds for the budget and it has received the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to this agreement, the country will receive 500 million dollars through the World Bank.
Also, it is reported that this is the largest financial assistance received by the country after the International Monetary Fund last March, and that the World Bank has approved to give the country 700 million dollars, and the remaining 200 million dollars is expected to be used for social security activities.
