It is reported that Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena announced in Parliament today (23) that he will work to restart the loan program for students in public universities and private universities.
That is according to a question addressed by opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa.
The Prime Minister who commented in this regard,
“Discussions are going on about getting money for this loan program. This relief was given to many private universities during the time of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
