It is reported that the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court has issued an order based on a statement made by the Maradana Police regarding the protests by the Inter-University Student Council.
It states that the areas around hospitals used by the general public, Punchi Boralle to Kularatne Mawatha, Deans Road, Technical Junction to Sangharaja Mawatha are prohibited from traveling as a procession and courts including TB Jaya Mawatha, Arnold Ratnayake Mawatha, Olcott Mawatha Supreme Court. It is reported that the court has issued orders prohibiting access to the roads where the complex is located.
