International media reports that Sri Lanka’s creditors are ready for their first round of negotiations today (09) which will be held online.
But it is said that no specific notification has been made so far that China will participate in this round of talks.
As agreed in Washington last April, it is hoped that it will provide a model for the debt crisis faced by middle-income countries and it is reported that all bilateral creditors have been invited for this round of negotiations.
India, France and Japan have jointly started this program.
