During a discussion between the Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and a delegation including Korean Ambassador Lee Myeon, Lee Jungsik, Minister of Labor and Employment of the Korean People’s Government, said that the number of Sri Lankan trained workers recruited for Korean jobs this year has doubled in comparison to other years. It is reported that it was announced.
There he mentioned that skilled workers with knowledge of Korean language will have more opportunities.
Also, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena has expressed his gratitude for the support received for the development of fields including health, agriculture, education and information technology and for the program of providing more jobs for Sri Lankan workers in Korea.
The Prime Minister has further stated that he expects further support from the Korean government for youth skill development programs and teaching the Korean language.
