It is reported that the National Transport Council has stated that the raids conducted in search of passenger buses running without a passenger transport permit will continue.
Accordingly, four buses which ran from the city to Dakalapu, Jaffna and Mannar without passenger transport permits were taken into custody within (11) days, and four teams were assigned for the raids, Colombo Director General Nilan for National Transport Affairs. Mr. Miranda has mentioned.
