It is reported that a federal court in Australia has issued an order to pay 14 million dollars in compensation to Facebook.
Accordingly, the court has ordered Meta to pay the related compensation to the Australian government.
It is reported that the court has issued this order on the charge of gathering personal data of users without proper knowledge through a smartphone application introduced by Meta Company.
The relevant case was filed by the Australian Consumer Commission against the company Meta and it is stated that the relevant application has been downloaded more than 271,000 times.
