Its chairman Mr. Muditha Peiris said that according to the price formula, the revision of the price of litro gas is planned to be done from midnight tonight.
He has mentioned that considering the increase in gas prices in the world market, there will be a significant increase in the gas prices in this country.
Accordingly, it is said that the related prices will be announced today.
Although the price was supposed to be increased during the gas price revision that took place on August 4, Litro Company took steps not to revise the price considering the inconvenience caused to the consumers.
Accordingly, a 12.5 kg gas cylinder is currently sold at a price of 2,982 rupees, a 5 kg gas cylinder is sold at a price of 1,198 rupees and a 2.3 kg gas cylinder is sold at a price of 561 rupees.
It is reported that Laughs Gas Company has not made a final decision regarding the gas price revision.
