It is reported that a student of Kurunegala Maliadeva Vidhuhale, who passed with the highest marks in Aposa A-Level Mathematics section, died suddenly due to heart disease two days after receiving the results.
The victim of this untimely death is a 19-year-old RG Manujaya Hansmal, a resident of Ranawana area, belonging to Wellawa police force area.
The Wellawa Police have stated that he died while sleeping at home last night (7).
The deceased young man had appeared for the second time in the mathematics section of the A-level examination last year and according to the recently released results of the examination, he had passed the examination with three B grades. It is reported that he was temporarily employed as an account clerk at the Kurunegala Mallawapitiya branch of the People’s Bank while appearing for the advanced level.
