It is reported that the Department of Population and Statistics has announced that the inflation in Sri Lanka has decreased further.
According to the National Consumer Price Index, the country’s inflation has been recorded as 2.1% in August.
Inflation for July was reported at 4.6%.
Meanwhile, food inflation was -5.4% in August, but the figure has been recorded as -2.5% in July.
