It is reported that the National Building Research Organization has issued landslide warning notices for 7 districts.
Among them, amber colored notices have been issued for 3 districts.
Accordingly, amber colored notices have been issued to Ingiriya area of Kalutara district, Pasbage Korale area of Kandy district, Kotapola and Pitabeddara areas of Matara district and Ratnapura area of Ratnapura district.
Accordingly, the National Building Research Organization says that heavy rains exceeding 100 mm have occurred in those areas in the last 24 hours.
People in those areas are asked to be aware of the risks of landslides, slope collapses, rockfalls, landslides and landslides if the rain continues and be prepared to move to safer places if necessary.
In the meantime, many areas in 6 districts have been issued yellow landslide warning notices indicating that they should be cautious and those areas are below.
